Come out and join us for a movie on the lawn! Before the movie starts, dance the afternoon away with our DJ playing family friendly music. Or visit our information tent and sign up to win prizes while the kids bounce in our large inflatables and the younger ones play in our new and improved “Chessie's waddler and toddler” zone. Other activities include face painting, lawn games, and food vendors.
ALL activities are FREE! Concessions are on-site for purchase. Please bring your blankets or lawn chairs (allowed in selected seating areas only).

The Movie Series at Mill Point Park kicks off every Thursday night in August, 3-31, 2017. Bring your blankets and chairs and settle in for an evening of free activities and entertainment. Enjoy a movie under the stars on the giant screen, along with free, movie-themed activities. Food will be available for purchase, but picnics are welcomed!

2017 Movies at the Mall Don’t forget to grab a blanket or a lawn chair–the movies will be shown outside on the MacArthur Center Green. Street Eats food trucks will be there.

June 28th – The Lego Batman Movie — As a special treat, guests will get a preview of The Virginia Living Museum’s upcoming exhibit “NATURE CONNECTS: Art with LEGO Bricks” running from Friday, July 22 through Sunday, November 26.
July 5th – Secret Life of Pets — Bring your dogs and cats! The Norfolk SPCA will be onsite collecting donations for a supply drive, please bring pet food or a pet toy. They will also have information about volunteering and becoming a foster pet parent.

A Free Outdoor Movie Series starts Friday, May 5th at sundown in the yard beside Strike Zone Bowling Center. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets & bug spray! Free Popcorn will be available with onsite food and beverages for purchase. Movie for the week will be announced Monday or Tuesday of the week leading up to movie night.
